Hello.
Sorry I haven't been on the blog lately, it's just this blasted cold is still around!
One minute I think I'm over it and then the next I'm stuck in bed for a while.
I had a bit of a melt down the other night.
Here's a book I read that I really like, and it's called THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME, by Mark Haddon, and it's really cool.
It's about a young 15 year old boy that has autism and he's trying to solve a death of a dog in his street that was killed using a garden fork.
He also solves a few other mysteries.
He also finds a few skeletons in the wardrobe.
It's quite good, in fact, I think everyone that reads it will love it, in some spots of the story it's a real tear jerker, in others you'll laugh your head off.
And Hilary, I think this will be able to help you understand what your grandson thinks.
You'll love it and you'll want to keep on reading it, and when I finished it I was sad that it was over, I really hope Mark Haddon will write a second book to this one.
See ya next time.

Sorry to hear you have not been well FB. Tomorrow will be a great day, I am sure.
Solving mysteries like discovering a dog was killed by a garden fork, seeing skeletons in a wardrobe.
P.S: I agree with Brian Hughes. The dog could have enjoyed gnawing them. Question: Who killed the dog?
Everyone in my family except me has read that book, FB, and they all tell me I would love it (except the last bit - my daughter says she will mark where I have to stop reading) and when I say, 'Where is it then?' nobody has a copy. I am going to the library in a few days. I will look for it then. Thanks for the tip.
ROFL.
Yes, I've finely gotten rid of this rotten cold now, but thank you, it's the thought that counts.
Oh, well thank you Andrew.
I don't want to give away the ending, but I'll tell you, seeming as you are my friend, I'll give you a clue, it's some one the boy knows, but that's all I'm saying, but thats not the ending.
(P.S."Skeletons in the wardrobe" means that some people are hiding a few great big lies)
Sorry if I gave away one of the mysteries, Hillary, but I doubt it 'coz I only gave Oirishlad a clue, but I'm sorry if I did.
