Here's some more pic's from the fungi trip.


Here's a pic of some bracket fungi.
I brought one home, that had fallen off a tree, that is as big as a dinner plate.











This is pagoda fungi 'coz it grows like the top of pagodas.








Heres one thats called coral fungi.
Tom, the fungi expert who was our guide for the trip, said he hasn't seen one this big for more than 10 years.









I also saw a tree that is called the Ada Tree and it's over 400 years old.
It's so big it's huge even though half of it was blown off in a rain storm, but it has grown over it and all you can see is a line down the tree.







It took us two hours to drive up there, but the road was blocked where we had to walk up the road to the track, so we had to walk 6km's to get to the Ada Tree, which took another two hours. The reason why it took so long is because there were fungi everywhere we looked but once we got to the Ada Tree and we had lunch, walking back took us only25 minutes, that's how much fungi we stopped to look at on the way!
