Hello.
Last week I joined a Naturalist club, and last night was their first meeting for the month.
It was so fun.
There was a glass cupboard full of fossils. There was an oyster that was a foot long, it was a fossil. There were also some clams and some tube worm holes.
Last night at the meeting, we had a man come in.
He talked about the powerful Owl and how there's only just over 500 left in the wild, he also talked about how there was a mating couple in Blackburn, Melbourne, that had two chics and how one of the chics had died and how the mother had been found dead in some ones back yard.
The club even has it's own library, it also has some stuffed and mounted animals.
Next Sunday they have a trip to a place where we will be able to walk through bush land and see some fungi.
Some of the kids brought in some dead animals, like a dead frog that one of the kids found in his drive way, he also brought in a Puffer fish that he found in a lagoon, another one brought in some thing that was a live, it was a caterpillar that he had found, and he thought it was a wichety grub, there was anther kid that brought in a red back spider in a jar, then there was yet another kid that brought in a huntsman skin.
I had so much fun that I didn't want to leave even though it was 11 o'clock.
See ya tomorrow.

Make sure you all stick together...otherwise there won't be much room. (Get it? Mushroom...fungi? I should have been a comedy writer.)

Sounds like a great evening. I am taking Celtic lad and Celtic Dingo to a place called Owlcatraz tomorrow. I will get Celtic Lad to blog about it.
How are you with late nights?? Are you grumpy the next day or do you get to sleep in?

I envy you and your class Mr V.
LOL Brian.
I don't sleep very well at night, I'm more of a night owl really, I don't sleep very well at night and I sleep very well in the day, so I that answers your question.
