Stephen Hawking

Last night I saw a show that was about Stephen Hawking.
He was the one that let us understand more about Black Holes then we ever did in the 1970's and '80's.
He also helped us know more about the solar system, plus the weird thing is he was born 300 years to the day of Galileo's death.

He is a very smart man that was expected to live only two years after he was diagnosed with MND, but he has lived for thirty years.
Yes, you're probably saying that the Doctors were wrong, well you're spot on, they were wrong, in fact his case of MND was very slow.

I just love Stephen's work so much that when I go to Uni I'd like to study the things he's done, even if I'm going to be a Dino expert.

If you want to go on his site, then just click here.

I saw some of that show too, and always find Stephen Hawking fascinating. It's hard to understand, but it was such an interesting idea about parallel universes and the only permanent one having no back holes. It makes me wonder if the world slips through one when we make an unexpected choice like the poem by Robert Frost: The Road not Taken: http://www.ketzle.com/frost/roadnot.htm . Maybe all the other roads are followed in all the other parallel universes.

Yes, I think that too Hilary, and what if we could meet our selfs in another univers.

Now, Mr V, you may think I'm up myself, but I understood most of it, so sorry if I sound like a Smart-Alick.

I love that, Feral, love it when you sound like a smart-alick. That so made me smile. And if you ever run out of story ideas, you could try one about meeting yourself in a parallel universe. There's a film a bit like that called 'Sliding Doors' in which the plot divides into 2 stories started by 2 different decisions the main character makes. But she doesn't meet herself in it.
